General

Which MRT is closest, and how long is the walk?

Marine Parade MRT (TE26) on the Thomson-East Coast Line is the nearest station, about a 7-minute walk via Exit 3. The walk takes you down Joo Chiat Road past local shophouses, with the clinic on your right at 437 Joo Chiat Road. The route is sheltered for most of the way and accessible for patients with mobility aids.

What buses stop nearby?

Buses 10, 10e, 12, 14, 14A, 14e, 16, 16M, 32, and 40 all serve the Joo Chiat / Marine Parade area, with the closest stops a 2–3 minute walk from the clinic. Routes connect us to Bedok, Eunos, Marine Parade, the city, and beyond.

Is parking really free?

Yes, parking is free when visiting Regis Wellness Katong. We have shopfront parking available, and registration with our front desk is required upon arrival. Free parking is for clinic visitors only, not for visiting other places in the area. If our shopfront parking is full, Katong Point next door offers paid parking ($3.00 for the first hour, $0.75 for each subsequent 15 minutes during the day).

Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Our entrance is on the ground floor with a wheelchair access ramp. Treatment rooms are designed to accommodate wheelchairs comfortably, and our team is happy to assist patients with mobility needs. Family members or caregivers are welcome to accompany you.

Do you take walk-ins?

No, we currently operate by appointment only to ensure each patient receives unhurried attention. The fastest way to book is via WhatsApp at +65 9851 3720. We typically have appointments available within 1–3 days.

Are you open on public holidays?

No, we are closed on Sundays and public holidays. Our regular operating hours are Monday to Friday (8:30am–2:30pm and 5:30pm–10:00pm, except Wednesdays which are morning only) and Saturday (9:00am–3:00pm). Please note registration ends 45 minutes before closing time. For the most up-to-date hours, check our Google Maps listing.

What should I bring on my first visit?

If you have any relevant past medical records, scans, X-rays, or test results, please bring them along, they help our physicians and physiotherapists build a more complete clinical picture, but they're not required. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For TCM appointments, avoid eating a heavy meal or drinking alcohol immediately before your visit.

Where can I have lunch or dinner nearby?

You're spoiled for choice, Joo Chiat is one of Singapore's most loved heritage food districts. Some recommendations within a short walk:

  • Sin Heng Claypot Bak Kut Teh - right next door. Known for traditional claypot bak kut teh; expect long queues during lunch hours, even on weekdays.
  • 328 Katong Laksa - Singapore's most famous laksa, just a few minutes away.
  • Little Farms - café and grocer in the next building, good for lighter meals, salads, and coffee.
  • Two Men Bagel House - less than 50 metres from the clinic, great for breakfast or a quick bite.

If you're new to the area, ask our front desk team — they'll happily share their favourites.

Where else can I go after my appointment?

Joo Chiat and Katong are perfect for a leisurely walk after treatment. The neighbourhood's heritage shophouses, peranakan architecture, and East Coast Park (15 minutes walk away) make it easy to round out your visit with something restorative.

Can I see the same physician each visit?

Yes, we encourage continuity of care. When you book, let our front desk know your preferred physician and we'll do our best to schedule with them. If you're a new patient and unsure who to see, our team can recommend a physician based on your concern.
